Workshops

The Cochrane Collaboration hosts a number of workshops worldwide, with the aim of training and assisting members with all aspects of preparing a systematic review. The topics covered range from preparing a Cochrane Protocol/Review, to the collection and statistical analysis of data.  Training is also given in the use of RevMan, a software package which has been specifically developed to assist review authors in preparing Cochrane reviews.
An up to date list of workshops can be found on the Collaboration websites.

Annual Meetings

In addition to the Collaboration workshops, the PVD Group also holds workshops in conjunction with our Annual Meeting in Edinburgh and will give one-to-one tuition in the use of Collaboration software. This meeting provides an opportunity for members to meet, and discuss any issues or problems with other group members and staff.  The meeting is usually held over two days with workshops on the first day and the main meeting on the final day.
